The observation tower was built on the hills between Šiaulėnai and Šaukotas, offering views of the surrounding area. Climbing to the top, you can see the town of Radviliškis and the rooftops of Rėkyva and Šiauliai, as well as the nearby villages, the undulating landscape, and the peat bogs. There is a footpath leading to the tower, which takes you to Šiaulės Hill (Kudinų Hillfort). Nearby is Varpinės Hill, and a little further away is Kartuvių Hill. The tower is 21 meters high.
