Tytuvėnai manor is mentioned in written sources in 1500. Its rulers were the famous noblemen of the Grand Duchy of Lithuania: Sapiegos, Valavičius, Radvilos. At the beginning of the 20th century, light and talented people Sofia and Eugenijus Romeris became the owners of Tytuvėnai Manor and part of the town. Until the fateful June 1941. here was the happy home of this family, where the mature years of the artist Sofia passed, and 5 children grew up. The dwelling house was built of larch logs, covered with wooden edges. In the manor there was a water mill, a sawmill, a weaving company, warmers, a fruit dryer, a blacksmith.
