The source of Varniškės (Pharmacy) is a hydrological natural heritage object protected by the municipality in Tauragnai eldership, Utena district, near village Varniškės III. The spring flows near the Pliaušė River, on the right bank (about 200 m out), in the forest. This hydrogeological object is unique - it begins in a washed out ravine (2.0x1.5 m), where the bottom is "boiling": bumping like a large pot. It is said that the spring water had vital qualities and people used it to wash their eyes - that's why it is called the Pharmacy Source.
