Near the present-day settlement of Pervalka, fishermen for a long time have been towing keelboats from the lagoon to the sea. The place was called Pervelka, and the nearby dune was called Perwelk Berge (Pervelka Mountains). There was another hill a little bit to the South which was called Skirpsto Hill. A gravelly "fishermen's path" towards the sea was later built in the clone between these dunes.
