Probably the most data about the Sietuva kūlgrinda and its construction have been provided by the famous archaeologist Liudvikas Kšivickis, whose description of the trip in 1903 of the Sietuva kūlgrinda remains in the manuscript: “He told me about the miracles of Sietuva. If you leaned to the side a little, you would fall into the water so deep that you couldn't get out ”(L. Kšivickis Samogitian antiquity, 1927). According to this archaeologist, kūlgrinda of Sietuva is one of the secret sections of the road that connected the troops of Medvėgalis, Paršpilis and Šiuraičiai castles. Today, 3 stretches of kūlgrinda are known. The first one passes through the Sietuva stream. Its length is 250 m, width: 8 m. The other two passages go through adjacent swamps, lenght is 180 and 150 m, width: 3-4 m.
