The observation deck in Kazokai village was built on the remains of a reinforced concrete Kazokai bridge that was blown up during the Second World War. You can view the Nevėžis and its shores from the deck. You can see how the riverbed bypasses the ruins of the bridge at the bottom of the river. The bridge was built before the war, in 1932. The very beautiful bridge across Nevėžis near Surviliškis was designed by Pranciškus Markūnas. It had an arched system, one opening, 57.6 m long and 6 m wide. The engineering structure cost 54,200 LTL. The bridge connected the villages of Kazokai and Surviliškis, now located in Panevėžys and Kėdainiai districts.
