A new tourist attraction has opened in Vytautas Park in the resort of Birštonas – a mineral water pavilion „Birutės Villa“. The pavilion houses a mineral water basin with a fountain and a mineral water vaporization wall. Visitors of the new wellness centre can improve their health by inhaling the air saturated with minerals, pampering their body and soul, doing a workout, practising yoga and drinking herbal tea. The new pavilion is not meant for commercial use and charges no admission fee. „Birutės Villa“ is an indoor pavilion and can be visited all year round. The pavilion can accommodate about 50 people at a time – they can make themselves comfortable on the bunks or at the tables. The new pavilion was built with the purpose of using the benefits of mineral water for health.
