Dyburiai exposure is one of the most impressive exposures in the Minija river valley (30 m wide). In the Dyburiai exposure, the Minija River reveals the deposits of three different layers of rocks. During the Geology Day in Salantai Regional Park in September 2018, a hypothesis was presented that the fungus-like structures found in the Dyburiai exposure are morphological formations formed by the propagation of seismic waves. This hypothesis was confirmed by South Korean seismologists, who identified the origin of these formations. This testifies that the exposures of the Minija valley are very important for the geological history of Lithuania. From the observation deck at the top you can see a beautiful view of the Minija valley.
