Many years ago, the melting glaciers during the ice age in Lithuania formed a Lithuanian canyon of unique beauty—Dūkšta stream valley. The lush valley was inhabitet not only by rare species of plants and animals, but also by unique witnesses of the past–the mounds of Bradeliškės and Buivydai and the Karmazinai mound, reminiscent of a pyramid. Traveling along the geological trail, you will be able to also climb two floors of obervation decks, see the thickest oak in the surroundings, the Holy Daubai Oak, and admire the magnificent panorama of Neris Valley from Oak hill observation deck.
