Mergakalnis is the highest escarpment of the regional park, which overlooks the Bird Islands. The height of the escarpment is 42 m, the length is 500 m. It is a state-protected object of natural heritage. Those hunting areas with exceptional images engulfed in legends will be impressed by the Mergakalnis lookout in the Dovainonys. The burial mounds of the Dovainiai are next to the escarpment, and down the path along the cliff you can land to the mouth of the river Uolė.
