This hill fortress with its ancient dwelling place is located in the Pajevonis Elderate of the Village of Dabravolė, five kilometres from Vištytis. The hill fortress is the big hill next to the swamp. Its steep eastern slope is about 25 metres high. The other slopes are somewhat lower and not so steep. At the top of the hill fortress is an oval-shaped 36 metre long open space. On the southern perimeters and slopes, traces of a cultural layer have been discovered, including moulded ceramics with an uneven surface. At the base of the western slope, traces of a former settlement have been discovered. At the base of the hill fortress, as if to highlight its greatness, a multi-bole linden tree has flourished. From one trunk, 25 boles have emerged.
