The mound (Bekešas Hill) was built on a separate hill with steep, up to 45 m slopes, 500 m southeast of Gediminas Castle Hill, 300 m south of the Curved Hill, on the right bank of Vilnia. The site was wider than 20 m. On the mound in 1579 was buried Kasparas Bekešas (1520–1579), the nobleman of Grand Duke Stephen Bathory. Little data about the mound has remained about the mound. In May 1838, and January 1841, the remains of the site were washed away by Vilnia.
