Objectives of establishment

The Baltoji Ančia Hydrographic Reserve protects the natural stretch of the Baltoji Ančia River and its valley with the Pastovis and Bliūdelis lakes, waterbird nesting sites, and the habitats of the alluvial forests, alluvial meadows, and swamp deciduous forests of European Community importance.
