Objectives of establishment

The Asalnai Hydrographic Reserve protects the Asalnai and Dringykštis lakes, the southwestern bays of Lake Dringis and their surrounding lakes, a unique and particularly picturesque complex of lake bays and channels with habitats of rare plants and animals in the surrounding lakes.
