Žagarė rowan is the thickest one in Lithuania and the only tree of such species to be proclaimed as a natural heritage object in Lithuania. It grows in the Old Jewish Cemetery in Žagarė, near the border of Latvia. The stem of Žagarė rowan has grown into a grave monument.
