Here you can get acquainted with the history, nature, and management of the first protected area in Lithuania. The visitor center has an exhibition "Žuvintas - a country of birds", and the building has an observation tower for visitors with a great panorama of Lake Žuvintas and its surroundings and the opportunity to look closer at it through telescopes. On the Žuvintas Lake nature trail, you can directly observe and hear the never-ending life of Lake Žuvintas.

Early morning is the best time for bird watching. Visiting the nature trail for individual visitors is free. The trail is open to visitors only during daylight hours, from sunrise to sunset. You can use the parking lot from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. The rest of the territory of the Žuvintas Nature Reserve can only be visited with a permit.

We also offer to watch a video about the nature of the Žuvintas Reserve.
