A mound was built on the island of Lake Želvos, on the highest part of the former peninsula. The site is four-cornered, oval shaped, stretching 35 m long to the east and 14 m wide at the western end. Its slopes are 2 - 3 m high. The mound dates back to the the beginning of the I century B.C., molded pottery was found there. The mound is accessible from Gečiai - Kuktiškės road.
