The homestead of the new Žagarė manor was mentioned in the first half of the 16th century. It was restored into English cottage style houses. The living room, the dining room of the palace, the billiard room and the guest rooms and hunting trophies are situated on the second floor. The still operating stud farm is one of the oldest stud farms in Lithuania built in 1899. Žagarė is the oldest building of the manor, built in 1770 - 1780. It is considered to be the oldest boulder mill in Lithuania. The park of Žagarė manor is one of the most beautiful in the whole country. More than 200 species of plants have been planted, of which more than 100 are still growing. Žagarė Manor House was restored in 2013-2014.
