Pine (Pinus strobus) of Žagarė forest is a botanical natural heritage object. It originally comes from eastern North America. In 1705 it was brought to England and later spread to other parts of Europe. It does not tolerate stagnant water and drought and is sensitive to smoke. Widespread in parks.
