The 2.89 ha mound is located on a separate hill on the right bank of the Šventoji. It is a man-made change formed during the retreat of the last ice age - a mountain of horizontal layers of sand, clay and gravel. The mound site is oval, elongated, 45x24 m in size. Striped pottery and iron foundry (slag) were found in it. The slopes are steep, 15-24 m high. At the south-eastern foot, on an area of 0.5 ha, there is a footstool settlement where molded pottery has been found. The mound dates back to the I thousand B.C. - I thousand A.D. This was established in 1949, 1958 and 1972. during archaeological excavations. Currently, the mound is managed ecologically, sheep are allowed to graze. In addition, it helps traditional farmers to preserve steppe meadows.
