Varniai regional park is protected area which involves central part of Samogitian highlands. Č. Kudaba was the one who described the unique lansdcape with the most prominent hills and lowlands in his book ‘‘Septyni keliai iš Varnių‘‘.Varniai regional park directorate visitor center exposition was made based on subjects of this book. In exposition is captured not only unique landscape of Varniai vicinity, which determined the lifestyle of Samogitians, excitng hiking and cycling routes, points of interest, but also unique nature and culture values. As the city of Varniai and surroundings of it are the heart of Samogitian land, some of the information in the exposition is presented in Samogitian. In the interactive exposition, visitors can get acquainted with the ‘‘Bird's Voice Clock‘‘, play games such as ‘’Kūlgrinda‘‘, ‘‘Guess the Tree‘‘, ‘‘Guess the Plant‘‘.

The Visitor Centre is closed on public holidays (except for events taking place at the Visitor Centre). The opening hours are reduced by one hour on the day before a public holiday.
