It is a botanical natural heritage object protected by the Šiauliai District Municipality. It is about 27 m tall and has a trunk girth at chest height of 4.34 m. It is not far behind the Zuikiškės Oak (28 m tall, 4.7 m girth), the largest oak in the entire Regional Park.

On the trunk of the oak grows a large number of small lichens, Arthonia vinosa, which have brown fruiting bodies in the form of circular or elongated spots.

The poor soils of the Regional Park are not favourable to the fertile soil-loving oaks. Oak trees that have grown in forests or have been 'planted' by the bush are poor, stunted and very slow growing. You will therefore rarely see old oaks here. Only in the Raudsparnė Landscape Reserve are there large areas of planted oak woodland. There are also many oak trees in the mixed forest of Valatki. Visit other oak trees.
