In the 17th and 18th centuries, the first Vainežeris Manor House was built on the eastern shore of Lake Vainežeris. A park, two gardens and a nursery were built nearby. The park has nature trails, the park's alleys are still green, the old trees are full of hollows, where various species of birds breed, bats and swarms of honeybees settle in the summer. Clay structures for wild bees have been built in an open meadow surrounded by an oval alley. In 1831, the captain, Countess E. Pliaterytė, a participant in the uprising, died in this manor.
