Akuočiai village was mentioned in 1744 with Vilnius bishops'Synod, specifyng the lines of Seirijai parish. The village was the part of Šventežeris estate, with its narrow keel sunk among the lands of Šventežeris, Seirijai and Miroslovas estates. Germen Gutovai ruled over Akuočiai in the 19 th century. Cast iron slab gravestone in german style with the names on it was et up here in 1894 and marked the ending of the Gutovai governance.
