Trunk circumference - 5 m, height - 27 m. The oak was named in honor of the priest, humanist, educator, translator of the first Lithuanian books (Catechism, Postile). He was a priest in Betygala from 1592 to 1600. It is not known exactly whether the oak was planted by M. Daukša himself, but it grows on the bank of the Vieviršė stream, which the priest loved.
