Tree holes are important habitats for many animals, such as woodpeckers, sparrows, some species of owls, bats, mice, squirrels, bees and others. The Hollow Pine Tree reaches 23 m height, with the trunk circumference of 2.24 m. The tree contains more than 30 hallows. The Hollow Pine Tree is a protected natural landscape object of the Anykščiai District Municipality.
