The Spring is also called Gaivutis. In 1931, as if saying goodbye to Betygala, the spring was visited by the poet Maironis. Since then, it is also the poet's memorial site. A section of the poet's poem "Rigi Kulm" is immortalized on the stone through which the spring now flows.
