The cornerstones of this short 1 km educational trail are the majestic Stirniai mound and the rocky confluence of Saidė and Neris. Standing at the confluence of these rivers and as you look at the huge boulders in the water, the steep slopes of the stream valley and the giant trees, it is not difficult to feel as if you are not in Lithuania at all. Such a landscape is not typical of our country, it is more reminiscent of Scandinavian countries. However, this short creek Saidė, only 5 km long, carries its waters from the historic Trakai Lake District to the mother of Lithuanian rivers—Neris.
