This mound stands on Pertakas (Piliakalnis) island located 60 m from the northern bank of Rubikiai lake, on the hill protruding in the southeastern part. The top of the mount is oval in shape, and oblong to the north-easterm and south-western direction, 27 × 18 m in size. It has steep slopes with the height of up to 7 metres. The island is overgrown with leafy trees.
