Rimašiai village homesteads are located on the left bank of the Gauja, repeating its bend. Rimišiai are mentioned in 1744. Then and later until the abolition of serfdom, the village belonged to the Daubutiškės manor. The rural land was divided into three fields, these into pieces and the pieces into rows. Each race had its own name - Dvarna, Siaurutė, Plačioji, Kamša, Margiai and others. This helped to orient on multi-row fields (one farmer had 15 and more rows). The south side to Dieveniškės was dedicated to homesteads, as there was a viscous swamp in the north. Due to the natural conditions, a typical one-sided village was formed, the street were paved with stones.
