Plateliai elm grows in the former garden of Plateliai manor in Žemaitija National Park. Elms grow rapidly up to 60 years, later their growth slows down. It can grow up to 300 years. The elm is resistant to cold and wind gusts because it is deeply rooted. These trees suffer from elm plague.
