The impressive Mosėdis stone lays near the town of Mosėdis which is famous for its stone museum. Its height above the ground is 1.74 m, length: 3.55 m, width: 3.34 m. This stone, like all the boulders of this land, is a legacy of the last glacier that melted 26 thousand years ago. However, there are few boulders of this size in the Bartuva River valley (11.08 m).
