The Vilkyškės Evangelical Lutheran Church building has a permanent memorial exposition of J. Bobrovskis. It's his workroom, moved here from the Berlin suburb of Fridrichshagen, where the writer ended his life. Here you can see Bobrovskis' clavichord, piano, and other personal belongings. The memorial room displays original documents, manuscripts from the collections of J. Bobrovskis' literary work. This exposition brought a fraction of Bobrovskis back to his childhood places, back to Memelis' landscape, which made a big impression on him as a child. In order to visit this Memorial Museum you must contact the Tourism Information Centre of Pagėgiai region located in Vilkyškis, Sereikos str. 5-3, near the Evangelical Lutheran Church. TIC of Pagėgiai region presents two more exhibitions to visitors. In the Witch Exposition in one of the buildings of Vilkyškės Manor, you can not only see an impressive collection of witches, but also get acquainted with historical facts and possibly even participate in an educational program during which everyone can experience what it means to be a witch. And on the second floor of Pagėgiai TIC building there is a very modern interactive exposition hall, where the train wagon of the “narrow” – narrow railway – is simulated. Here, conveniently seated visitors can enjoy the views of Pagėgiai region on large monitors and “travel” on a past-like train.
