The house where the family of three famous professors who did so much for Lithuania—Mykolas, Vaclovas, and Viktoras Biržiškas—lived has been rebuilt on the old foundations, keeping some of the original materials based on the old house plans. Now, in the former rooms of the Biržiškų family, there is a town library and a memorial exhibition dedicated to the professors M. V. V. Biržiškų. The museum's collection includes furniture, books, documents, and photographs belonging to the Biržiškų family. Here you can learn about the family life of the professor's parents, Dr. Antanas Biržiškas and his wife, musician and teacher Elžbieta Biržiškienė, see the doctor's writing desk with a chair, books, family photos, the family coat of arms, and a family tree. Another exhibition is dedicated to the lives, activities, creative work, and contributions to Lithuania of all three brothers, Antanas and Elžbieta's sons. Documents, photographs, and books tell the story of three professors who taught at Vytautas Magnus University in Kaunas and Vilnius University.
