It is better known as the Mėčiūnai Mound, which people call the Pustelnykas Horn. The ancient settlement of Mėčiūnai dates back to the Stone Age. An area of 8 square metres has been excavated in the ancient settlement of Mėčiūnai. A flint flint split and sediments, a fragment of an oval axe were found.
