Lynežeris ethnographic village
The village is located on southwest coast of the Lynas lake and is surrounded by Gudai Forest, which crosses into Čepkeliai swamp on the south side. Distant from the Marcinkoniai 12 km to the east, a scattered village of 25 homesteads, with elements of the street's thinned village, a monument of local architecture. In the Lynežeris, 13 homesteads have the status of an architectural monument, and there are a total of 40 monumental buildings (houses, barns, clubs) built in the late nineteenth and early 21 st centuries. The first known sources refer to 1765.
