The Dubysa Regional Park is characterised by the largest railway bridge in Lithuania, the Lyduvėnai Railway Bridge, which connects the two banks of the Dubysa. The bridge is listed in the Register of Immovable Cultural Property of the Republic of Lithuania. Tourists, admiring one of the most expressive and picturesque landscapes of the erosive valley of the Dubysa River, are amazed by the magnificence of this centuries-old bridge. The bridge is 599 m long and 42 m high. The first bridge was built in 1916 and was made of wood. The current bridge was built in 1951.

The bridge will open to the public at the end of 2023. The opening of the Lyduvėnai Railway Bridge, the longest and highest railway bridge in Lithuania, in the Dubysa Regional Park, is a unique and long-awaited solution. The vivid landscape of the Dubysa valley can be viewed from a height of 33 m. Please note that tickets for excursions must be purchased in advance, no later than 5 working days before the visit to the bridge. Tickets cannot be purchased on site!

Self-guided visits are not allowed. Visitors are cautioned that the rebuilt wooden structures of the bridge on the service walk are openwork, so visitors with a fear of heights are asked to assess their ability to take part in the excursion, as the excursion is organised in one direction only: from the left bank of the Dubysa to the right bank. Afterwards, the visitor can continue the tour independently through the town of Lyduvėnai (about 3 km).
