It was the tallest and is probably the oldest tree in the Liškiava neighborhood. Linden is over 400 years old. The priest's mother died under it before the war, and a priest hung a chapel on the linden in her memory. Thunder was expected to hit linden trees extremely rarely, but the exception is Liškiava linden. It's current view was formed by thunder. The tree broke from the thuder blow, and there were thrust-backs on all sides around the trunk. Stem height 6, 5 m, volume at chest height 1,3 m.
