Kreiviškės peninsula is on the south-western shore of Plateliai Lake, in the Laumalenkos Landscape Reserve. The peninsula is overgrown with an impressive oak grove of about 9.7 ha. The name of Kreiviškės comes from the word "kreivas" (curved), by which the locals described the shape of this peninsula. The area of the natural monument is 19.78 ha.
