The Museum of Kernavė introduces the UNESCO World Heritage Site - the Kernavė Archaeological Site, the first capital of the Grand Duchy of Lithuania was established in 13 century. The history of the area from the beginning of its existence, dating back to prehistoric times, to the 13th and 14th centuries a prosperous craft town period is presented in detail in the halls of the museum. In the modern exposition you can not only see authentic exhibits, but also to get acquainted with the production of exhibited tools and their usege. Kernavė as a book in which not a single page is torn. The aim of the exhibition is to interest the visitor to read this book from the beginning to the end.
