Juozapinė Hill is a hill about 23.5 km southeast of Vilnius, near the Belarusian border (about 4 km away), about 1 km southwest of Medininkai settlement. The slopes of the hill are very shallow, in the north the slope is overgrown with forest. The hill is formed of moraine clay soil and sandy loam. 293.6 m above sea level, Juozapinė Hill has long been considered the highest point of Lithuania. But in 2004 Specialists of Vilnius Gediminas Technical University determined that the highest point of Lithuania is the adjacent Aukštojas hill (293.84 m). An observation tower has been built here, where you will climb 300 m above sea level.
