The Jomantai Forest Cognitive trail consists of 7 parts. At the beginning you will find a gazebo and a stand with general information about the trail. There is also a parking lot. "Forest Goddess's Habitat" is reminiscent of old Lithuanian traditions. The forest deities (Medeinė—the patron saint of ancient Baltic forests, Žvėrūnė—the ruler of hunting and beasts) are located near Vuokštelis. Kaukas—a gauge that informs visitors about water level fluctuations in Aklaežeris. There is an obstacle course. The section of "Dark Secrets" reveals the dark secrets of the forest. "Inkilų Alėja" is dedicated to those interested in Jomantai forest and its birds. There is an observation tower from which it is convenient to look at the forest groves. The final site of the educational trail is "Zuikių mokyklėlė". It is a great place to discuss the impressions of the trip and test the acquired knowledge. At each stand (23 in total), visitors are given tasks and questions. They can be answered after having studied the available information on the stand or just taking a look around. At the "Zuikių mokyklėlė" stand, you will have to solve a crossword puzzle to test your knowledge.
