If you were standing here in 1970s a hill of almost 162 m would lie in front of you in the south direction. It was later excavated when a gravel quarry was opened here. Since 2003 the quarry no longer works. This territory was recognized by the Government of the Republic of Lithuania as particularly valuable from a recreational point of view. In the place of the excavated hill there is a reservoir of almost 2 ha, the surface of which is 140 m above sea level.
