Alnis Lake, almost 4 km long, is a hydrographic reserve. Although the average depth is less than 6 m, the deepest point is 22 m. There are no homesteads around the lake, the lake is surrounded by steep slopes overgrown with pine trees, in some places looking more like a park than a forest. A circular hiking trail runs around the lake, which is about 12 km long marked with yellow-green-yellow markings. It is best to start the trip at a campsite at the eastern end of the lake.
