When traveling on the cognitive trail “Green trail” (7.5 km) you will get acquainted with the Spindžius forest, Natura 2000 territory. It is an exclusive landscape of the Strėva river bed forests, lakes and swamps. There are 13 natural habitat types of European Community interest in this area. You will admire the lakes of Stanka, Spindis and Spindžiukas, the Strėva river with the swamps lying on the shores, the mountain of springs, the spectacular habitats of the western taiga, the marshy deciduous forests, the ancient tree limbs, the jams. In the sparkling landscape reserve you can see 26 plant species included in the Lithuanian Red List, rare mammals, birds, reptiles, amphibians, molluscs, insects. You will visit the fall of Strėva, and the gravestones of the Clothes. You will hear the voices of the bird chants and inhale the fresh aroma of the forest.
