Geniai exposure is located on the right bank of Jūra, near the Geniai farmstead, in an impressive loop of the river, on the northern edge of the Tyreliai forest. The height of the outcrop is 24-25 m, the length is 160 m. The steep slopes of Jūra were formed by two forces of nature working together: the strong lateral erosion (disintegration) and gravity, due to which the slope deposits constantly fall and move. There are many old and new landslides of various sizes at the bottom of Geniai exposure.
