The 1 km long hiking trail is 4.4 km from the Žemaičių Kalvarija town. It is set on Gardai esker. This is special, one of the most expressive forms of relief in Lithuania. TheeEsker is a long narrow ridge composed mainly of sand and gravel. This ridge was formed from sediments that formed inside the glacier, in the melting streams of water 12-13 thousand years ago. A semicircular complex embankment - a ridge extends as far as 3.5 km to the north-west from the Varduva River in Žemaičiai Kalvarija. The height of the stall oasis from the base to the highest ridge in some places is 10–15 m. In Soviet times, there was a gravel quarry in this place, later an illegal rubbish dump. The environment is dominated by a landscape of open spaces with hills similar to loaves of bread. The trail is marked with signs. The pavement is made of gravel.
