The planting of the cherry orchard in Žagarė Regional Park was started in the spring of 2011 on the outskirts of Žagarė city on the bank of the Švėtė River. The area is 3.7 ha. Entered into the National List of Plant Varieties in Lithuania in 1962. There are several varieties of cherries that differ in fruit ripening time, yield, tree shape, and other characteristics.
