The Barsukynas Ozas (700 m long and up to 24 m high) is a state-protected natural heritage object. Ozas are long and narrow ridges formed in the crevasses of melting glaciers. Legends say that they are the paths of giants through the marshes.
The highest point of Barsukynas Oz is the Pageluvis I Mound. On the eastern rampart of the mound, the trunk of a dead Sukilėlių pine tree sticks out. It is said that in 1863, the rebels used to swear an oath by it.
