Next to Lake Ančia, there is a hiking trail (4 km long) in the Ančia Landscape Reserve. Traveling along this trail you will get acquainted with the landscape, admire the views of Lake Ančia, breathe the fresh air of pine forests and, under appropriate weather conditions, have a great opportunity to see a variety of forest plants. If you are lucky, you will see a protected species of amphibian: european tree from (Hyla arborea). The trail is marked with information arrows, and you can relax and swim in the lake at the beach.
